Flowers

As you may remember, I’m finally in school! which normally wouldn’t be such a thing to celebrate much about, but the reason I’m excited is that I’m finally doing and actual something to put myself in the direction of fashion.

I’m really excited and looking forward to this new experience. There’s really amazing people in my group and I think it will be really interesting to meet all of them.

In the meantime, I show you this outfit. I apologize in advance, since I’m not much of a fan of taking outfit pictures in my bedroom, specially since there’s no good light in it {and I have to do a bunch of tricks to get something decent} and second because I feel completely ridiculous posing with timer and tripod next to my window where everyone can see how silly I look ^^

In any case, I was thrilled to use my skull clutch and finally wear my floral blazer, I hope to get the chance to wear the skirt and trousers soon…

Have a nice rest of the week!

NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTION
As we reach the end of this year 2011, I almost apprach the 1 year anniversary of this blog and my life in Paris. It has been hard and amazing at the same time… and something that has certainly helped me through the rough patches is this blog, which motivates me to express myself and enjoy what the two things that I love most: fashion and photography.
In a week I finally start my studies in fashion, and I couldn’t be any more thrilled and mortified… but I know that finally entering fashion school is gonna give a nice twist to this blog….
And therefore, as my resolutions for this year {apart from other more personal and actually more spiritual ones} is TO BECOME MORE STYLISH, since I love fashion but I’m not as stylish as I’d like to be…
Though there’s the obvious money limitation SO another resolution is TO GET A JOB… how? I still don’t know, but to begin with the right foot I already have one as photographer for Courtney and DD’s wedding on february… hopefully there will be more work to come :)
And I only have left to wish you all an amazing end of the year and a beautiful 2012… in which hopefully I will get to know you all more :)

Un jour d’hiver

This sunday, against all odds I went outdoors… the motivation was, that it was the first time the weather was nice in a long time; though that doesn’t mean it wasn’t freezing, it was 3°C which for me is pretty much unbearable.

Since I was already on a good track deciding to go out, I decided to dress in an acceptable manner {I have this tendency to dress terrible during winter, since I hate cold, I lose all my energies and motivations so I put on the warmest+ugliest clothes I find on my way}

Once out there, Flo and I had lots of fun! found a nice place to take some pics {too bad the lighting wasn’t the best} and then I started jumping and running up and down the stairs to “warm up”. Once warmed up we went to the Marché de Nöel in St Germain des Près {which wasn’t that great} and in the end treated ourselves with a Framboise/Pétale de Rose St Honoré from Ladurée.

Turns out the day was better this way than if I had stayed indoors watching movies and drinking hot chocolate

What did you do this weekend? Do you hate cold as much as me, or do you love it?
