A little taste of Spring

Spring is here suppossed to be here, but it’s not… it’s just giving us brief moments of warmth and sun and then hiding again.

Thankfully, last Tuesday which was a free day, it somewhat stayed warm and bright which gave us the chance to go relax at Parc Monceau {which by the way is gorgeous} and then just stroll around Paris, where we saw one of the most adorable puppies ever!

I took advantage of the weather to wear a skirt (pardon my pale-ness), pastel colors and my new glitter shoes. I felt like a little macaron, what do you think?

This weekend the weather isn’t great again, and I’m trying to think of cool things to do with this weather but I’m just uninspired… so if you have any idea I’d love to hear it. What would you do if you were today in Paris on a cloudy day?

Hope you like the pictures :)

Location: Parc Monceau

ESPAÑOL: La primavera llegó! (supuestamente)

Pretty Little Flowers

Hi! These are photos from last week, in which I have to admit my outfit was too light for the cold weather, but I needed to get some pictures with the pink trees, they don’t last too long and if I waited for a sunny day, I’m pretty sure they’d be gone by then :/

I just can’t wait for it to be really spring!

How’s the weather where you guys live? is it as crappy and cold as it is here in Paris?

———————————————————————————————-

I am Spring

We’re on the beginning of April which means we are already full in the Spring… still it’s like the warmth decided to go somewhere else far away from Paris.

Last weekend, on saturday the weather was terrible, and I got sick but the next day the sun came out and though I felt terrible I had to go out and take this photos, the result… today I’m still sick but still I don’t regret doing so, cause that’s the closest I’ve been to feeling the spring so far… hopefully you’ll like them :)

What are your plans for the weekend?

———————————————————————————————-

Just a little spring inspiration {yes I want it to be spring already} that I’m loving with psychedelic prints and unexpected mixes.
Specially the flower printed suit which is the one that made me want a full flower printed ensemble as bday gift and the rainbow dress with the beatles shirt are awesome :D
Plus if I were a blonde, I’d definitely give the pink hair a try!

The colors of spring

Last thursday I went with my family to Cuernavaca, it’s a little village close to Mexico City that is AKA the village of the eternal spring. So as you can guess the weather there is super warm, so I wanted to dress fresh and colorful :)

The main colors in my outfit were coral, yellow and pink; warm colors that really make me happy.

In this case it was all about accessorizing since the outfit was really simple {a tee with a pair of jeans}

The day was nice, we went to meet some long lost family members and got to eat amazingly good, but the best part was that I got to spend a really nice time with my parents, brother and puppy…something I had missed quite a lot since I moved to Paris.

This was actually Bisou’s first long trip, and I couldn’t be happier to bring her… seriously she’s the life of the party {at least for me}

In the middle of a little town within the city we found some people selling paper devils and dolls… so I got myself a little devil. It is suppossed to represent Judas and you burn it on Holy Saturdary…

about the dolls I don’t really know the story behind them :$ but well I just love these beautiful traditions there are in México… for some reason there’s always a lot of colors involved in them, and it’s one part of my culture I’m really in love with.

Actually, before moving to France I used to go a lot to ride on my bike around the city to capture those things that I feel represent or are iconic of my country… and as a matter of fact I’ve made an album on my flickr dedicated to that, named «*MeXiCaN CoLoRs*» {and I really have to update it since, lately I’ve been more focused on my Paris pictures

Jardin du Luxembourg

After having suffered from months of unforgivable cold, finally a sunny and warm day arrived, and everyone, seriously everyone in Paris didn’t let the opportunity pass to go dehors.

Of course I wasn’t the exception. So my friends and I decided to hit Jardin du Luxembourg after class to have a picnic and pretty much lay in the grass and be happy.

It’s amazing the amount of people. I bet every single park in Paris was packed, and there was this really nice vibe floating in the air…

Now our plan is to always go after school to do homework to any open space instead of doing it home.

We’ve been waiting so much for spring, now we really wanna make the most out of it.

Spring is here!!!

Finally the day has come, the day I can start to be super happy and active to enjoy the city I’m living it :)

It’s spring, and even though it still get’s chilli after lunch, the sun is shining and I’m gonna be shining with it :D

So in order to honor that, I went with a friend to welcome this new amazing season at the Jardins du Luxembourg. And from what I saw, I wasn’t the only one thrilled with the sun being out… the place was packed and everyone seemed to be on a lighter mood.

One of the amazing things of this season coming, is that I get to wear lighter clothes. I’m definitely more of a warm-weather dresser than a cold one. I like colors, and showing off my clothes {not covering them all with a huge coat}

And it was a bit of a bum, because due to the super cold weather during these past two months I’ve kinda dressed like shit pretty much {which I hate} so with this new season also comes my interest of looking pretty and showing myself to the world :))

Today I just went for a walk with some friends around Hotel de Ville and Pompidou… it wasn’t a set plan, just to enjoy the day outside.

With this weather I feel I’m gonna be able to actually make the most out of this city and really enjoy myself.

Cherry Blossom Girl

I’ve always been in love with this flower {cherry blossom AKA Sakura} when I was little I saw once in a calendar a picture of a sort of park in japan filled with lines and lines of Cherry Blossom Trees… ever since I got my obsession with this flower.

That is what led me to get a tattoo of cherry blossoms on my left ribs, (this is what I call devotion lol)…

And then there’s this amazing song by air with the name “Cherry Blossom Girl" so of course one has to love it.

Who wouldn’t love a tree filled beautiful tiny pink flowers?

So you may be able to guess how thrilled I am now that these amazing trees are starting to blossom around the city. I couldn’t let the opportunity pass to go take some pictures of one of my favorite flowers and obvs with my favorite person in the world = my bf <3
