A little taste of Spring

Spring is here suppossed to be here, but it’s not… it’s just giving us brief moments of warmth and sun and then hiding again.

Thankfully, last Tuesday which was a free day, it somewhat stayed warm and bright which gave us the chance to go relax at Parc Monceau {which by the way is gorgeous} and then just stroll around Paris, where we saw one of the most adorable puppies ever!

I took advantage of the weather to wear a skirt (pardon my pale-ness), pastel colors and my new glitter shoes. I felt like a little macaron, what do you think?

This weekend the weather isn’t great again, and I’m trying to think of cool things to do with this weather but I’m just uninspired… so if you have any idea I’d love to hear it. What would you do if you were today in Paris on a cloudy day?

ESPAÑOL: La primavera llegó! (supuestamente)

Aunque no se siente mucho calor que digamos, el martes pasado que no tuvimos que trabajar, el sol salió un poco y todos en Paris salimos a tratar de aprovecharlo.

Ese día fuimos a un parque super bonito que se llama “Monceau”. Hicimos un pequeño picnic de dulces y despues nos fuimos a pasear y de compras.

Aproveché el clima para por fin usar una falda y en general colores pasteles y mis zapatos de diamantina… de alguna forma fue mi forma de festejar la llegada de la primavera :D

Pretty Little Flowers

Hi! These are photos from last week, in which I have to admit my outfit was too light for the cold weather, but I needed to get some pictures with the pink trees, they don’t last too long and if I waited for a sunny day, I’m pretty sure they’d be gone by then :/

I just can’t wait for it to be really spring!

ESPAÑOL: Estas fotos las tomamos la semana pasada. Ese día decidí vestirme un poco girly y muy pastel para combinar con los arboles de cherry blossoms que me encantan! La verdad me estaba helando pero ni modo, tenía que aprovechar porque en unos pocos días todas las flores se van a caer y no voy a poder disfrutar verlas!

Ya no puedo esperar a que sea primavera de verdad!

I am Spring

We’re on the beginning of April which means we are already full in the Spring… still it’s like the warmth decided to go somewhere else far away from Paris. 

Last weekend, on saturday the weather was terrible, and I got sick but the next day the sun came out and though I felt terrible I had to go out and take this photos, the result… today I’m still sick but still I don’t regret doing so, cause that’s the closest I’ve been to feeling the spring so far… hopefully you’ll like them :)

ESPAÑOL:  Es abril y todavía no se siente la primavera en Paris osh!

El sabado había un clima espantoso y me super enfermé. Pero el domingo el sol salió y aunque me sentía terrible tenía que salir y aprovechar a tomar fotos! Necesitaba un poco de motivación así que me vestí con mi traje floral, literal vestida de primavera.

Valió la pena haber salido, porque aunque aun me siento mal, me gustaron mucho las fotos y mi outfit :)

The colors of spring

Last thursday I went with my family to Cuernavaca, it’s a little village close to Mexico City that is AKA the village of the eternal spring. So as you can guess the weather there is super warm, so I wanted to dress fresh and colorful :)

The main colors in my outfit were coral, yellow and pink; warm colors that really make me happy.

In this case it was all about accessorizing since the outfit was really simple {a tee with a pair of jeans}

The day was nice, we went to meet some long lost family members and got to eat amazingly good, but the best part was that I got to spend a really nice time with my parents, brother and puppy…something I had missed quite a lot since I moved to Paris.

This was actually Bisou’s first long trip, and I couldn’t be happier to bring her… seriously she’s the life of the party {at least for me}

In the middle of a little town within the city we found some people selling paper devils and dolls… so I got myself a little devil. It is suppossed to represent Judas and you burn it on Holy Saturdary… 

about the dolls I don’t really know the story behind them :$ but well I just love these beautiful traditions there are in México… for some reason there’s always a lot of colors involved in them, and it’s one part of my culture I’m really in love with.

Actually, before moving to France I used to go a lot to ride on my bike around the city to capture those things that I feel represent or are iconic of my country… and as a matter of fact I’ve made an album on my flickr dedicated to that, named «*MeXiCaN CoLoRs*» {and I really have to update it since, lately I’ve been more focused on my Paris pictures}
