I present to you my latest purchase… I’m quite thrilled about it.
This is the first time I’ve ever bought an antiquité; I got it from a bouquiniste in one of the boîtes vertes located on the banks of the Seine.
The book is an edition from 1951 and it’s the first real book in french I’m ready to read.
I’ve always loved the 18th century and the French Revolution, but I’m not gonna say I know much about it {I love History but I suck at it}, so I’m really looking forward to re-learn many things through this beautiful french book :)
PS. I also got a box of Macarons from Ladurée with a Matthew Williamson design special for PFW, but I’ll show you that later ;)
Gros Bisous!

So these are just some random shots of the outside of the Château {that’s why I have to go back… to go in!!} and the main Jardins. I hope you like them!

Versailles part 5 » Le Petit Trianon et Le Hameau de la Reine

Again some pictures from Versailles, though these are more focused on the Petit Trianon and the Queen’s Hamlet… it’s just a preview, since there’s so much more to see.
[For some super weird reason, the Petit Trianon was closed to enter the day I went, so I guess it’ll be included in the pictures of the next time I go to Versailles]

Hope you like them!!
